Anti Fatigue medicines, cause of Obesity among military
men

The University of Cincinnati is doing a research
to find out whether anti fatigue medicines administered to militarty
men are causing soldiers to become fat. Military personnel are given
these drugs for weeks or even months inorder to face stressful situations
with complete body control.
Stephen Benoit, the Professor at the University
of Cincinnati will be incharge of this sleep and obesity study.
Earlier a similar study has been conducted on the effect of stimulants
and amphetamines as they were then given for pilots who had to fly
long hours to meet difficult targets. The research is expected to
last for four years and it promises to put more light on the side
effects of anti fatigue medications
