Oregon, only state saved from Obesity rise last year

According to an advocacy group, Trust for America's
Health every state in America showed a rise in obesity except Oregon.
The data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed
obese adult percentage at 22.7 in 2002-2004. The previous percentage
score was 22 percent.
The reports produced shocking results for states
like Mississippi, West Virginia, Louisiana and Tennessee. Alabama
is the state with the highest percentage of obese adults. Colorado,
Rhode Island, Connecticut, Montana and Vermont are the states with
the lowest amount of obese adults. America is struggling to battle
the big obesity epidemic which has risked many a lives and increased
the health budgets of government health department. Though many
treatments for obesity in the form of surgeries and diet pill treatments
have entered the drug market, none of these have struck a significant
note to cure obesity.
