Sanofi’s “Sun rising” approach to FDA for Acomplia (rimonabant) approval

July 27, 2006

New mystery that is going to happen with the diet drug developer Sanofi-Aventis is that the Acomplia (rimonabant) diet drug developer is going to update the old talking process with FDA for Acomplia approval. Millions of American’s belonging to obese community waiting for the Acomplia approval in their country, U.S. No doubt approval moment of Acomplia by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will be the wondering moment for them.

It is planned that on 2nd August the top executives of Sanofi-Aventis will meet with U.S. financial analyst to present the company’s first half earnings of 2006. After presenting the report on first half earnings, the financial analyst will get a chance to ask some related questions to Sanofi.

Now it is a long past when Sanofi salivated that FDA has not approved the diet drug Acomplia for the selling purpose in U.S. and also Sanofi has already given the answers of all queries related to the delay of Acomplia approval for sale in U.S. by FDA in their past meetings of the diet drug Acomplia.

However in the eyes of most observers, those past stories about the Acomplia diet drug are now negligible. Again the foreseeing view of Sanofi's financial venture is about $5 billion for Acomplia diet drug. So, it is going to be assumed that the financial analysts will be very careful and a bit more aggressive about the zimulti availability in U.S.

However, here we have to wait for the sparkling news that may come after 2nd August meet between the diet drug developer Sanofi-Aventis and the financial analyst.
