High protein diet and Exercise for higher Weight

Obese patients following a high protein diet and
regular exercise schedule will experience more weight loss, reveals
a study organized by the Illinois Council on Food and Agricultural
Research, the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, Kraft Foods
and the Beef Board.
The protein diet when combined with exercise decreased abdominal
fat and also risk factors for heart diseases. Donald K Layman, a
Professor of nutrition at the University of Illinois said the protein
rich diet boosts exercise benefits. The research paid for by companies
which share beef and diary interests stressed that exercise together
with a protein diet helps in fat reduction and importantly preserves
muscles.
