Health experts have asked for strict regulations
on ads which offer miracle cures and boast rapid weight loss in
no time. These are advertisements which fool the public and prompt
them to try the new medications. It hardly gives them any significant
effect.
Illegal manufactures are getting away with making
false claims about certain weight loss drugs and when the government
gets ready to take action all the damage would have been done. Professor
Mike Dean stressed the importance of consumer awareness and argued
that anyone can advertise a drug for weight loss and market them
without describing its safety and efficacy. It's annoying to see
that many of the weight loss drugs are fake or advertisements are
illegal and no agency had come forward to ban such ads which spread
wrong influence to the peoples mind.
