Not all Ephedra-free diet pills are Safe

Health officials warn that many diet supplements which contain 'Ephedra free' label does not ensure complete safety. After the ban of Ephedra in 2004 due to its dangerous side effects many diet pill companies began marketing their drugs as 'Ephedra Free'.

Federal Health officials point out that many new diet pills have additives like Bitter Orange and Caffeine which are not safe and sound. The side effects of such pills may vary from an increased heart rate to a high blood pressure. Doctors say, these problems are closely related to the severe problems earlier identified with Ephedra. They also caution the patients to stay away from such dangerous pills.
