According to a recent study the launch of diet drug Acomplia has been delayed in Germany. On 25th August Sanofi's announced that the drug will be available in German pharmacies on 1st September but still there is no sign of availability regarding this drug.
There were several headlines in UK news papers when Acomplia was launched in Britain but there is no news found in news paper about the launching of that drug in German. Also there are no details given by Sanofi's about the delay of Acomplia in German. However, Sanofi said that the drug will be available in all countries of Europe within next nine months.
After UK and German, Denmark is the third country where Acomplia will launch and available in the pharmacies. The other countries are Ireland, Finland and Norway where Acomplia will be launched by the end of 2006.
